🏈 I knew he couldn't resist! Poor Tubby

"We never complained when they went by the process the last time, and they should go by the process this time," said Tuberville, who is now head coach at Texas Tech. "If they were ineligible, I think they should have a revote and let people vote on it and decide who they think was the best team that year. If everybody thinks it was Oklahoma, that's fine. If everybody thinks it was Auburn, that's fine."

"We never complained" - Hah! Maybe not, but they took the results of a high school kid's poll and proclaimed themselves "The People's Champion" and even bought NC rings. And, they give us hell for our '41 title.:headscratch:

I haven't heard a boog say anything about claiming a national championship. I'm sure they sit in the corner and giggle like school girls, but SURELY they have enough sense to not brag about claiming a vacated title. And yes, they did have national championship rings made.....Bless their hearts. How does wing-nut explain the national championship ring to the Grandchildren? You tell the story however you like, coach. It's such a nice story the way you tell it.

I wouldn't have expected anything less from him to be honest. :lance: Let them celebrate their mythical championships and moral victories...it helps keep their family together.

After all.... a family that does halucanagenic drugs together....stay together....errrrmmm or somthing like that. and let's face it....those ppl are either that stupid or are that stoned. one or the other if not both. Hey...it is an AG School.

Didnt USC play Oklahoma in the BCSCG? Soooo since USC would have to forfeit the BCSCG wouldn't the trophy goto the other team they played? Oklahoma. Auburn does not fit in the picture even though they may have a complaint. And didnt 1-2 other teams finish undefeated?
