🏈 I have to admit, I was worried...

I was worried how the team would respond now that the goals for the BCSCG were gone. The last time the team had that goal snatched away, they lost interest, and didn't even bother to show up against Utah in Nawlins.

It isn't a big secret that this year's team lacks the leadership that last year's squad had, so I was concerned at how they would rebound from the LSU loss. They no longer controlled their own destiny in the SEC, and I was a bit worried they might mail it in. Instead, they came out and wore down a very good MSU football team.

We got some explosive plays (3 consecutive ones for TD's in fact), and I think gained some momentum on offense. MSU doesn't have a great offense, but our defense played a great game... really nice to see the 5 sacks.

All in all, that was a quality win, and it is good to see this team is ready to finish this season strong.

Just what the doctor ordered.

True, true, I would imagine a lot of people want Bama to win and shut down $cam not only so their Non-AQs can get in the BCSCG action but also so some people have an easier choice for Heisman, I get the feeling there are more than a few people that want more on-the-field reasons to not vote for him... And, as they said on ESPN during the game Saturday vs. MSU, the best thing behind winning it yourself is spoiling it for someone else, especially if its the cow college

Now let's keep the momentum going--put a beat down on Georgia State--and then come up with ways to stop #2 and #90 for Auburn.

Well we only have to worry about one of them for one half, but let's hope our offense rolls so we don't see a lot of #2.

Glad to see us bounce back with some style and dominance, have to admit I was pretty worried too.

I was really excited to see them come out like they wanted to win the game. I was really feeling like they would be flat and ho-hum about it.

I sure feel better about the iron bowl now.

The first half of this Iron Bowl is shaping up nicely. I'd like to get the ball first, and give them a steady dosage of #22 and #3. Run it right at Fairly, run it to his left, run it to his right. They are gonna be down a few defensive players, and it's a great chance to jump on a VERY suspect defense, now even more so. Get a lead, and protect it in the second half.

I hope we don't try to run the ball up the middle all day. That hasn't worked against any quality opponents. Running to the outside is how we score and make big plays. Up the middle = tiptoeing/looking for non-existent holes.
