🧑‍🍳 I have gotten a lot of great recipes on here!

@TerryP I am going to have to print this one off 👆 for my wife and see if she will make the Cake. She does a lot of wedding, showers, birthday, anniversary and confirmation cakes. No idea how many cook books she has but I would venture to guess its probably 40+.
It'll take a little prep time. I'm guessing first time through for me is going to an 1:45 or so. No big deal with half of that baking, ya know? Just finding the time for prep.

Hell, all the talk we've had about pizza has me making one today. I've been working on it for going on four hours now. Sauce has been done. Toppings are prepared. I just need to grate a little more cheese and make the dough. 15, maybe?

So this one pizza looks to take over five hours to make...geez.

I knew she worked in the school system, wondered if you guys get out in time for peak wedding season. Or is she a year round employee?
We were both year round until I retired a year ago in June. Now, I am only 5 days extended time but she remains year round. She even has to go in on snow days unless we are under a level 3 (nobody can be out except first responders).
 
But was it worth it?
Only going to get better. But yes. (I thought I had a block of mozz, ended up using sharp cheddar.)

Real good flavor. I took the casing off of two Conecuh's ... a little less than a half of a lb of ground sirloin. Red and green peppers...purple and sweet onions...

I've got some of the meat left...going to do something.

Extra meat could make a good burger.
 
But what did you put on them? Biscuits are kinda like most starches to me, if they aren't covered in something that tastes good what's the point?
So far the first was a simple sausage and cheese. Then it was honey. Cinammon and sugar in a cinnamon toast kind of thing. This morning strawberry preserves. In a few minutes it's going to be sausage gravy. Although I have some chicken in the fridge from yesterday that was done in a fajita seasoning...that would be good.
