I just think it's another example of people in positions to teach the youth of this country lowering the already decreasing standards of conduct in this country. A lot of these players leave home to get away from this pettyness and violence, only to find another form of negativity in a supposide safe place.

This crap starts at the top and is why in my view Texas is not back in a way that will sustain in the long run. What type of players do you think someone like Herman will attract? High character players? Can you see a Tim Tebow wanting to go play for Herman? I know coaches are not saints but they should be better than this. I suspect some of what Zack Smith said about Herman is true.

When a deranged and disgraced ex Ohio State coach is turning loose on twitter there may not be a graceful retort. As far as Texas goes, they have struggled with the better teams since Brown lost his program. I'm sure just getting the best of an SEC team with superior talent has changed the Longhorn narrative from within. I mean they have been wandering in the wilderness for a decade now with plenty of false hope along the way. I think the home and home we have with them coming up should be a lot more fun.

Absolutely.....the Texas and ND series are great for Bama....
As far as Texas.......you have to win and play well for more than a year...to be back...and cant choke one vs a nobody...see Maryland....
Some schools should always be in the running....because of $$$$ and tradition and in state HS program....and location...
Texas is one of these...
