Yep, most peelers do that even without the swivel. Looking at the blade will tell you. Also, for Lefty use too.

It's one of those things I never thought about...just never dawned on me. Literally, never seen one used this way before.

I came pretty close to looking up the origins of the peeler...but I've been trying to put together a grocery order for four hours now and I'm not progressing very well.

Josh Pate's podcast/video is pretty damn good this week. I keep hearing something and having to backtrack.
