I have to admit, that as much as I dislike Florida, nothing would please me more than to see them drop 70 on Tennessee. But it just seems like every time we get into one of these scenarios in the SEC where one team is heavily favored and expected to blow out the other, the game ends up taking some strange twists and turns, and usually ends up being a lot closer.

On paper, there is no way Tennessee wins this game. But we don't play them on paper. Is Florida going to come into this game buying into their own hype? Is the revenge factor for Urban going to cloud his judgment and cause him to do things differently than he normally would?

I just have an uneasy feeling about this one guys. UT just doesn't have a chance, but I can't make myself believe it fully. Anyone else have an uneasy feeling about this one?

Tennessee's defense will be able to slow Florida down, but they will still probably score 24-30 points. there is no way that puts up more than 13 legitimate points on Fla with the possibility of 1 fluke score if they're lucky. tenn points in this game max out at 20 imo. tenn win not possible... unless tebow isn't playing.

My thought process goes like this:

If Kiffin would not have made such comments as he did about Florida then all the talk would simply be about how UF is so much better than UT and then I would be concerned about UF buying into their own hype. However Kiffin did make those comments and now all the talk is about revenge against kiffin and the players are buying into that rather than themselves.

Just my opinion, got nothing to back it up

The only way FL doesnt score at least 50 is because UT actually has a little success running the ball (highly unlikely) and the clock keeps running so FL isnt able to post such a high number. Otherwise UT comes out in the first 2 series, gets a little excited from the little success they will have while the adrenaline is pumping out and then FL sucks the wind out of their sails and smashes them.

My thoughts are split in two on this game. On one hand I want to see the Gators beat them by 50 and call three time outs. On the other I would love to see the Gators drop this game so that Alabama becomes the talk of the SEC. Higher ranking...Gators still wouldn't have an undefeated season...another Teblow promise?......

Florida played a sloppy first quarter against Troy last week. If they start out fumbling the ball like that, Tennessee will earn their share of field goals. Other than that I think you can count on this one being a laugh er unless you are one that subscribes to the 70-0. I see it more like UF -48, UT -9

Take a tums or rolaids Porkchop. UF wins by eleventy-billion.

UT losing to UCLA at home was no fluke. UT had 200 yards of total offense against UCLA. Granted, UCLA only had 188 themselves, but they only scored 212 points last season. Their offense was really bad and SDSU outgained UT against UCLA.

What UF is going to do to the vols will not be pretty for the volnation.

Not me I want FL to win and keep on winning because it allows us to hold our own destiny at the end of the season. We realistically are not going to pass Texas or USC in the polls if you go under the assumption that everyone wins out (I know, I'm not saying it will by any means, just hypothetical) so an SECCG against an undefeated FL team that has been #1 all year would have to ensure that we weren't snubbed from the NC game. Again I state this is all hypothetical and has about a 2% chance of really happening.
