šŸˆ Hugh Freeze and Liberty have agreed to a new contract—8 years, just under five million per year

I am going to go against the grain and say at present I can't think of many other than Kiffin I would want to take the job purely from a standpoint of keeping things going on the win front. I expect 10 or more wins a year with him, as opposed to someone coming in and taking us back to the Dubose or Shula years. And yes I realize both of them had at least one 10 win season, but they were inconsistent.

I think Sarkesian is also a guy you talk to. He may not be as buttoned up as Saban of course, but his ability calling plays on the offense could have us scoring points and allowing us to figure out anything else. Give him the NIL support to get guys in and I think we could keep the offense rolling.

I somewhat agree with Lane, but get concerned with his East and West game calls. A lot of it was maddening like O'Brien if we remember. That's where "Run The Damn Ball" came from, ha ha. he's got the spunk, pizzazz, and arrogance to run our program, so that's why I agree with you.

Sark was 9-4 his first season at USC. Overall, he was 12-6 when he got fired.

That still ain't terrible at a place that got hit with sanctions once Carroll left and got left in shambles. I also believe Saban really helped rehabilitate him where he is simply a different guy now. I really believe that. Not saying Texas won't cause him to regress back to any old habits, but the structure at Alabama helped him get some ground underneath him I believe.

Sark's issue at USC was the hooch more than his coaching ability. While I agree that he would also be a good possibility, assuming his Texas teams get better, I also think he may not be interested in coming back. I do want someone who wants to be here more than someone who might have other jobs in mind.

I think the drinking and being in public intoxicated was the big push at USCw
