IMO Kiffin is hoping he will be a candidate for the HC job about 150 miles southeast of Oxford when the time comes. He knows if he takes the Auburn job not a chance.

He is a modern day Spurrier. I like him, but correct, I don't think he fits the mold of what Alabama wants.

I am going to go against the grain and say at present I can't think of many other than Kiffin I would want to take the job purely from a standpoint of keeping things going on the win front. I expect 10 or more wins a year with him, as opposed to someone coming in and taking us back to the Dubose or Shula years. And yes I realize both of them had at least one 10 win season, but they were inconsistent.

Hugh Freeze is very happy at Liberty and is not going anywhere IMO. Yes, I said this before he signed the extension.

According to this website, about $15 million between January 2023 ($7.5 million) and each July ($1.9 million each) through July 2026. There's probably a provision that any future earnings offset the payout.
