| FTBL How many wins will auburn have this season?

Unfortunately, auburn was not kicked out of the conference with the recent expansion, so I feel compelled to include them in this W/L exercise... FanDuel has their win total at 7.5. How many wins do you see?

also, fuck auburn.

The O/U for their game this weekend vs. the Sooners is 46.5. I don't really like dealing with O/U totals, but this just screams under.... which probably means it'll end up 34-31. But, a turnover fest would scare me from playing it, even with Monopoly money.
There is no value on this game unless you have money to burn.

This is a lot like the Bama game this weekend. Vegas, hedging bets. +105 if you take the money line on OU. Same for Bama over UGA. To me, that's them saying, "that's probably going to happen."

Changing gears a bit, I haven't see any numbers or data on this so it could be way off... but it feels like in the NFL thus far, there have been a lot of underdogs (including some heavy ones) winning outright. More so than usual, anyway.
No clue. I watched lines for a few years on the NFL and decided I'd have better odds at squares at the Super Bowl party. I don't follow the league enough. It's a lot like playing fantasy on FanDuel...I base my picks on college. Still win, but.

A lot of three point margins. Not smart wagering. I don't know. I'd have to look it up. I'd guess 1 of 3 wagers on the dogs paid last season.

They have given up on the season, other than the Iron Bowl, of course. They are crowing about their moral victory last year and how Freeze ALMOST got Saban one more time. What their lizard brains fail to grasp is, one, they are WORSE than they were last year, and if they think a rebound is on the horizon in the harder part of the season, well, they are at what former site moderator Argo would call the "it must hurt to be that stupid" level. Two, Iron Bowls where they either unfathomably fluke their way into a win (like 2013 & 2019) or we make them look like the Kansas City Chiefs and we barely get out of there with a win (like 2009, 2021 and 2023) only happen at JHS. They can't replicate that same fluke shit in Tuscaloosa. They MAY mess around and win ugly against Vanderbilt, depending on which Vanderbilt shows up. Same for Kentucky and ULM. But that's about it. 5-7 at best now
