I used to follow a lot of college teams, both football and basketball, in my younger days, but now, I just don't care that much. I may read an article here or there, but after Alabama, it's all pretty much "meh."

They're mediocre as hell this season, but he's been to an Elite 8 and a Sweet 16. But his teams take on his crazy personality and talk a lot of shit. They're also really inefficient on D.

It sucks we lost to UCLA in the Sweet 16, because I would have loved for us to have gotten a shot at them in the Elite 8.

Michigan could honestly do a lot better than Howard though. They have a top 15 basketball program and have been to the national title seven times.

What he's done on the court overshadows what they've accomplished in the post-season. The same can be said for how UM has played in the regular season—losses there weigh more heavily than success in March.

I agree with this. They do shine in the post season no doubt, results are there, but his leadership is so crappy it overshadows all of that in my mind. That being siad though, I will have them in the Sweet 16 if they make it due to being burnt the last number of times by them.

Bottom line he has won at his alma mater. He has had his team in the tournament and for the most part have performed well. Time will tell.
