🏈 How do you feel about the teams of the SEC?

Saw a fun thread on reddit in which fans of various teams were sharing their thoughts on the other teams in their conferences. Couple Bama ones in there but of course, everyone's different.

I'll start.

Florida - JORTS. But seriously, the Gators haven't had too much bite as of late. I dig their logo and colors. Tebow Tears was fun, of course.

Georgia - I want to feel bad for Georgia fans. But, they're the other big dawgs in town and I don't see them going away any time soon. They're a threat for sure, but there are some great games when we match up. I look forward to another Kirby-Saban match.

Kentucky - Basketball school. I like their logo with the big ol' bobcat lookin' wildcat thing. They're just kinda there I guess.

Missouri - Odd ones out. I honestly forget they're in the SEC sometimes. Love their endzones. Their success kinda faded out after a few good years.

South Carolina - Neutral. I gladly root for them over Clemson. Have to respect fans who chant "GO COCKS". Plus, Marcus Lattimore (we have the same birthday!) was one of my favorite players at the time.

Tennessee - I'm a younger and newer fan than most in here. I've seen 11 years of Tennessee suffering and not much before that. The rivalry is pretty one-sided these days (it's hard to even call it a 'rivalry' sometimes) but I think history speaks for itself. Hate "Rocky Top". Hate their nasty ass shade of orange. I like Pat Summitt (RIP) and Smokey though. Plus Tennessee is gorgeous.

Vanderbilt - Don't mind them at all. They pick up the academic slack of the SEC.

Arkansas - Mostly harmless but can cause some anxiety. Don't have any strong feelings on them either way.

Auburn - Redheaded stepchild whose goal every season is just to beat Bama with voodoo magic from Satan's butthole. Perpetual #2 and self-proclaimed underdog, but just plain unlikable. Their tears sustain me. Aubie is kinda cute though.

LSU - I love playing them. I love their colors, their traditions, the food, Mike, etc. I enjoy the hype around a good LSU-Bama game. Don't mind their fans.

Ole Miss - They seem like a bunch of snooty whiners. It was the greatest moment in their school's history, seemingly, when they beat Bama. I find that kind of pathetic. I've never been to the Grove but I hear the scene is out of this world.

Mississippi State - They're the Auburn of Mississippi but with less danger present. Less cowbell please. They seem alright though.

TAMU - Kinda weird bunch. Love their passion.

hate the 2 MS schools cause I live in MS now and have to put up with ignorance and the bell ringing
hate the rest just because they are in the SEC

I will say the only SEC stadium I will not go back to is MSU. Last visit was in '13 when they "legalized" the cowbells. It is awful headache inducing racket that I will not endure again. Lest you think me an old grouchy bastard, I listen to Black Sabbath, Metallica, Maiden etc at full throttle...it is those damn bells that are so irritating

Tennessee-The real rival, hate 'em but respect 'em. Really hate their clothes.

Auburn-Seen as the little step brother that you want to pick on. Occasionally they have a four leaf clover stuffed up their ass, to get revenge for the beatings.

Miss St-Seen as the little brother you may try to whip but then take then to the movies later that day.

Vandy-Seen as that kid that gets bullied and you take up for, when you get the chance. Of course, you never let them forget you are the bodyguard, not to be tested.

LSU-Seen as that super fun neighbor that you like to hang out with but will whip their ass anytime they start feeling they are ready for you.

Ole Miss-Seen as that kid that thinks they are special, much more than anyone else sees them. Once in a blue moon, they pull one over on you, sometimes by nefarious means.

Texas A&M-That odd new kid in the neighborhood, I mean really odd. You still don't know what to think of them yet.

Florida-That kid from the other neighborhood, that got a gym membership back in the late 80's. Occasionally, you meet up with them to determine which hood is the best hood.

Rest of them, do not see them enough to really have a feel. You are suspicious about that kid wearing red and black, who walks around with an asthmatic dog, from the other hood though.

I will watch a bad SEC game over good teams from other conferences. That said, I've watched these teams line up and try to take what rightfully belongs to Bama for too many decades to be magnanimous. I guess it comes down to the degree of disdain for each team. Historically, no one is lower than the viles and the barn. They both are an inflamed boil on the SEC buttocks of the world.

LSU does not know their place and has often taken liberties with their station in life. I could put the Dawgs of athens there as well, but frankly, we have never had to kick them to the curb every year. And it's always sweet to reminisce about all the trips to death valley to specifically educate the Cajun masses on the subject of humility. Know your place purple people.

Arkansas got very annoying after the Stalling era. By the time Shula was let go their fans were actually screaming for equality and half of them were dumb enough to believe it. Hillbillies.

The Aggies still have a lot to prove, get back with me when it happens. The Mississippi schools have lost too many games for too many years to get too upset.

Same with Vandy, Kentucky, Missouri, and wherever Arkansas is on my give a crap meter, that's where I would put South Carolina. Florida has been the beast of the east since the mid 90's. Before that, they had the football history of a 5-minute egg. But they have been our nemesis since the 1992 SECCG. My sincere hope is that what they now call "the swamp" will someday develop the world's largest sinkhole and in Florida, this is actually a distinct possibility, and finally live up to its name, much like the Okefenokee.

Vandy n Ky....really not competition...for anybody....never been...never be

USCe....come on...they have never been a football school... didnt go a single bowl til a few years ago....but do have a Heisman winner,,,catch that Tennessee..never understood how they got into sec in 90s or 80s ...whenever

UT... third Saturday in October....is the highlight of sec college football.... they are down..enjoy...but....it is college football....it will be again. Hope not soon.

Fl....didn’t become competitive til 80s...never had a undefeated season...yet..
Won sec in 80s..forfeited it....cheated...

Uga...the second ...could be first..most under achieving program in the sec.... as with FLORIDA...they should be at the top..all through history of CF...

TX anM...the laughing stock of Texas football...watch their yell squad some time...

Do less with more potential than anybody..tied with UGA maybe....

Howdy. I post here, there and on what used to be Shaggybevo, now Surlyhorns. My only places to hang out. All three places are very light on the moderation, as long as you don;t get stupid or troll.

Don't really care about any of them. It is my hope that F auburn never wins another football game. I have been hating the cow college since 1958 and it only gets worse. F Inferiority Complex U at Lee County. Nick and his fine staff and player just have to focus on them and if so it doesn't matter who is on the other side of the field. I do believer UGA is in high cotton going forward. They have access to more talent in their area code than anybody else. We'll see.

No, still THE rivalry. Always will be - they deserve to be hated..... ALWAYS. In EVERY sport

Auburn - yeah, state rivalry, but who is more worthy? At least LSU, if not u cheat. They truly are the little brother who.... couldn't.....

Arky - were ok under Petrino - otherwise, a joke. Good in track.

LSU - such a good football rivalry with Les coaching - so little success now with so much talent - probably the 2nd best overall sports program in the SEC right now.....

TAMU - just not there yet.... we'll see what Jimbo can do. Big school, also good in track

Ole Miss - pretenders unless they cheat...... more of a pain in the ass than anything else.

MSU - their bag men keep some talent in state, they play hard, but don't beat us. Don't seem to win in any sport. Used to be good in baseball.

USCe - Muschamp is doing better - but plenty of people still beat those cocks. Better in baseball, basketball.

UF - so much talent around, so little put together lately - fearsome in the 90s and again for a while under Urban - but now we will see if Mullen is for real. As an athletic department, dominant in college sports.

Vandy - seriously? Keep it going in baseball, Commodores.

UK - better, but not good. They will be happy if they can just win 7-8 games every year in football, and get to basketball season. The king of basketball in the SEC.

UGa - good in football - Kirby is diong it his way. Also the 'come-up-short's for now - time will tell.... will they continue to suffer? Not so good in much else except baseball

Don’t care about any of them. I watch them if their on depending who they’re playing.

Tennessee is the only school I hate. I’ve always hated them. Was in Knoxville the year Wyoming beat them which was absolutely wonderful.
