No big deal. Really. Like I said, we don't mind folks having at each other with "smack talk."

Oops, sorry about that, Terry. When I started my reply the thread was still just on page one, I believe.

I stepped away for a bit and came back and finsished my post. When I hit send, then I saw the thread had grown to 3 pages and everyone was trying to cut out the smack talk.

Im all for debate and discussion...but there is a way to approach it and I did not agree with his approach. Thats okay though....all things work out in the end....what goes around..comes around.

Roll Tide

Agreed.

Not going to mean a damn thing as soon as the clock starts Saturday, IMO.

Hey, I thought the Georgia game would be close, so I've been wrong before.

I say that because I think we'll win this by 3-4 touchdowns and it'll another game where we start strong.

It's been a week of practice where they've been focusing on the same things they were last week...with a little more work on special teams.

Saban and the staff have been preaching, "finish, finish, finish."

This game is going to be closer than ya'll think it is. The big difference between Kentucky now and Kentucky when we were a doormat is Kentucky has athletes now! We have players now who could lineup at any school in the SEC. We used to only have 2-3 athletes on the entire team at one time (Moe Williams, DeWayne Robertson, Tim Couch, Marlon McCree) Now we have atheletes scattered all over the field. And....we are getting Better!!!!

We are bringing in a group of impressive freshmen next year, so we can remain competitive in the SEC.

But I digress, this should be a helluva game this weekend and I can't wait. Bring it on!!! Roll the Elephants! :D

You should be proud of your team and all that it has accomplished so far and I admire that in you for the optimism.

HOWEVER, UK has not been tested yet. The games you have played have been tune-ups. You stumbled a liitle bit against MTU, but you did put some points on every other team which was to be expected. You represented the conference well. Don't get upset though if Bama does win because you are playing a terrific Bama squad.

While I can agree with you on the fact that this probably isn't your usual Kentucky team...but at the same time this isn't the 2007 Kentucky team either. If Woodson was behind center again this year, I'd be a lot more worried than I am now.

I do realize that.

This issue remains.

You had to rebuild your offense this year with the exception of a few players. One on the OL in particular.

Your "claim to fame/legitimacy" right now is your defense. That also I understand. But, your defensive line is also a line that was rebuilt. Going against, mind you, guys how have started several seasons on the line together.

Sure, this isn't the same Kentucky that we've seen in the past. But, it's still a far cry from being the Kentucky team that competes to win the East, much less comes into Tuscaloosa and walks away unscathed.
