Might want to make sure your coach knows what one of the biggest parts of his job actually is before you sign him up. Did he think he was just going to have open tryouts and field a quality team?

Crazy thing...he played in more games at Bama in '16 than he did for AZ St. in '17.

They have a RS Sr. that had all the starts last year. If Blake is next in line he's looking at '19 barring an injury. I think their starters name is Wilkens or something like that.

The one advantage I saw in hiring Herm was how he'd be able to relate to the parents. I'm thinking this was an off-the-cuff comment that has been taken to the extreme. I just can't see how he didn't realize this but I can see how he'd say such just to fill air time.

In four games (2017) Barnett completed 3-of-5 passes for 40 yards and a pick at Arizona State.
In three games (2016) he completed 11-of-19 passes for 219 yards, 2 TDs and no picks at Bama.
