IE: 3+4+19
I'm seeing...
3X4=12 ... 3+4=7. 12+7=19.
OR...
3+4²=19.

5X6=30 ... 5+6=11 ... 30+11=41.
5+6²=41.

I see 7 but not 11.
1X3²=9

I knew where this was going as soon as I saw it...but, it's a good idea for a puzzle. X is the number of sides...good exercise for a high school class.
