We've had bad teams, we've had good teams that underperform or play down to the competition. I've never, never seen a team like this that absolutely, positively refuses to do anything at all in the second half of games. Every game this year has been the same thing. Jump out big and pray we hang on.

And since I'm in the venting mood let me just for good measure state once again that our special teams have been anything but special, again. All day today the special teams have been the one component to Ole Miss's success whatever it might be. I know we're still getting players and maybe we lack depth in a lot of areas, but at some point this has to be addressed.

The only game where we looked good throughout was clemson and western kentucky but all the other ones we have been up and down kinda like its diff personal.

I think it's going to happen. Honestly, they probably deserve it. We really haven't played well as of late and our two big wins came against two teams that look to be overrated, Clemson for sure. Rankings me nothing to me at this point in the season. If we keep winning the rankings will fall accordingly.

I personally think we should be #1 based on what we've done so far, but Texas killing Missouri tonight kind of gives them the up on us. If PSU blows out Ohio State next week, I give Penn State the #2 and drop us to #3. And I hate to do it...

I could care less where we are now or next week. Mark this down. If the Tide wins out ans wins the SECCG there is now way in Heck that we don't play for the Big Iron. Did you even bother to look at the conferences or the schedules before making a statement like, "they deserve it"?

I guess according to you, BAMA would deserve it then if they looked good dropping 40+ on Coastal Carolina, Oregon State, Syracuse, Temple, Purdue, and the worst Michigan team in the modern era of football. Because in case you were not aware, that has been Penn State's schedule so far this year. Not only is it W.E.A.K. it is filled out largely by the worst teams in division 1.

Oh, and BTW, they play in the Big 10. That alone should take 100 points off their BCS street cred.

Let's not forget Penn State has won some big games too this year though. Say what you want about Wisconsin, but they laid a butt-kickin' on them. And the things they did to Oregon State the first week of the season are against the health code in 49 of 50 states. Let's not forget who Oregon State has beaten this season....

As for rankings, I know this is a bold statement. One would think that the #2 team in the COUNTRY could score and play defense in the second half of a football game.
