šŸˆ Harbaugh is still getting what I call a pass from the media. Where's the outcry about him threatening to cut scholarship players?

Jim Harbaugh may leave scholarship players out of fall camp roster if they don’t make the cut

Roster management is a term you often hear in SEC circles but the process of deciding who’s really on the team or not is certainly practiced far and wide across college football. The latest coach to make that very clear? None other than Jim Harbaugh.

Least you think the Michigan head coach is only about showing up on the sidelines of big games or taking players to Europe, he let it drop that some of the Wolverines’ 85 scholarship players could not be involved with fall camp later this year thanks in equal part to the play of some walk-ons with the team and because they aren’t making the cut.

What's he done to continually get a pass on things other programs, and other coaches, are criticized about? Winning at Stanford when the only competition was Oregon? Continually finishing third in their division in the B1G?

I've yet to see a redeeming quality this man brings to college football.

I don't think anyone is protecting him. If he were to ever go on a Nick Saban-like tear (he won't), the media would def. go after him about stuff like this but at the moment he's barely a blip on the national radar (whether he likes it or not). Sadly most local media would rather just do nothing but fluff pieces rather than rock the boat (granted you're risking losing access if you rock the boat). Such a fine line there.
