🏈 Guess The Team... After the first game.

That's correct mrchase. That was the Virginia Tech game 2009....Greg's first start. Im not saying we will go undefeated and win the championship this year like in 2009, but there are some similarities between that first game and this year's first game. But we can't possibly win a championship with a game manager type at QB, like Sims. My feeling is....if Coker can calm the nerves and make progress as the season moves along, and if Sims keeps improving, i believe we have a damn good chance.

You really just suggested Alabama would have lost to Missouri last year... I think its time for you to step away from football bro you no longer can look at it with one ounce of logic. Some folks may look at everything in crimson colored glasses but you're looking thru pitch black ones.
Wouldn't it be great for you if I actually cared about what you think. I thought it last year, I'll say it this year. Bite me Bird.

My opinion, Sims is doing a fine job, and I am 100% behind him, first two games and he has done well, not lighting up TDs but not making bad decisions. Everyone keeps talking about the long ball, how many long balls did Auburn throw last year? In my best Keyshawn voice.... Come on man! I said a while back that I thought Sims deserves the start, he has done nothing but lead us to two victories, thrown for 200 plus yards in each game, one of those games he played about a half. This is where they get the kinks out. Let the man play some damn football and if he starts sucking then give someone else the ball. Either get behind him or sit and watch him, either way he seems to be the man, and I am rooting for him!

I for one was all for Coker coming in and taking the #1 spot. Then I saw the two of them play, and now, I fully support Sims as the QB. I think he gives us the best chance at winning. Who cares about the long ball, I'd rather see a 5 yard screen pass go for 80 yards and a TD 2-3 times a season than 1 long TD pass plus a bunch of overthrown passes that could get intercepted. Coker has a strong arm, so what if he can't hit a target? Now, I think he may be the qb next year, after his nerves settle down, he learns the playbook better, and develops better timing with the receivers. But RIGHT NOW, I'll take Sims.
