You think the one that get a food ration that live off post eat free at the mess hall? I can tell you no to that. Right at the moment yes all can eat at the mess hall, but when this shut down is over! All that own money to the mess will be taking out of the pay. it still a no win to this too.

The COMRATs are not getting paid to them..The COs can order them to move back in the barracks, especially if they are single.. and he can order them to eat the mess halls to ensure they are eating properly... now they don't necessarily have to do it, but most of them will have to with no paycheck... the Navy Federal credit Union can extend lines of credit into the commissary and the exchange stores so they can buy food and other necessities.. the Navy credit union is private..

It's probably already happening and you're just not hearing about it.. it's an individual command, commanding officers decision what he does..

The Dems did not want a government shut down..
Then, they forced a government shut down.. Then, they blamed the Republicans for keeping it going so long...
Now, they are saying they wanted to keep the shut down going, indefinitely...
And they're doing it all on TV in front of the world.. you can't make this up..
