I had to look it up. If in the tackle box, receiver has to be in the vicinity, outside the box, ball must be beyond LOS. Still think the linemen downfield would come into play. Still a penalty.
Don’t remember down though, but 1st or 2nd down, UGA would’ve accepted the penalty. 3rd down, yeah, you decline it and take the resul of the play and force the punt.

All 136 is a great idea!! Round Robin, national champion named after 7 years or so. We have to be all inclusive and can’t discriminate against the teams that lack talent. When you think about it, the teams with the worst records need more practice and games to improve. Just name them all winners at the end of the and everyone can feel good about themselves and nobody gets their feelings hurt.
After the SECCG Alabama was lucky to get in. Poor showing, never in the game, never threatened to take over. I can understand ND’s frustration but I’m glad Alabama’s in.

It not Bama fault that ND didn't get in! Those that voted kept then in or around 11/12 in the ranking. We all know that that ranking you not getting in. JMU and Tulane are the one this year.

There was obviously some fudging the numbers to put JMU and Tulane into the CFP. How does JMU move from #24 in the rankings to #12 in the pairings? If Tulane and JMU were “good” teams, why weren’t they ranked higher as the weekly rankings came out?
PS: I’m not faulting Alabama for ND’s crying. Their “mightier than thou” attitude makes me sick.

Not just some former players saying this some of us fans.... With that said now that they are lets hope they get healthy find their way back to mid season and blow the door down in the playoffs.
I was one that didn't think Bama should have gone into the playoff! BUT!! It is pissing a lot of teams and their fans off!! So I'm hoping that Bama takes it one game at a time and wins another one of these!
