Terry, it was looking bad for awhile when I posted that thread. Turned out to be a pretty good weekend. I really understand how betting can become addictive.

@psychojoe and I have talked about that in a lot of detail.

There's a certain amount of money I'll set aside each season to play with and a certain level I'll stop. Of course, $0 means I'm not betting anymore. I always set a cap on winnings and quit as well.

I do realize the pro's and con's—fiscal, moral, and the others you'll hear cited.

HOWEVER, the one pro it's impossible for me to ignore? A weekend like this past one with Bama playing UK. For me, it makes Saturday that much more fun.

But what do I know ...

I told my wife how much I had lost, she said I'm glad you not doing this for real. I have been pick'em on all the games. This weekend I will not. I hope I can pick Bama to win this weekend.
