Georgia safety Xavier McKinney decommits from Alabama
Alabama lost a commitment Thursday morning from Georgia four-star safety Xavier McKinney.
McKinney bonded with Alabama commits last week at The Opening and said his commitment was 100 percent, but also said he would make visits to Florida and Clemson.
The 6-foot-1, 194-pound McKinney had been committed to Alabama for nearly 10 months.
Alabama has a commitment in the secondary from Tanner athlete Chadarius Townsend and is in on James Clemens safety Kyriq McDonald and four-star out-of-state safeties Hamsah Nasirildeen from Concord, N.J. and Montaric Brown from Arkansas, among others.
McKinney tweeted that there is no timetable for a decision.
