🏈 GameDay in Atlanta

How does the whole gameday thing work?
This is all I know.

I assume people just show up. I'm gonna try to make my way down there but I assume people will be out the way early so I dunno how close I'll get. I highly doubt that I just stand and watch too, but I think it'd be cool to be there for a little bit. Plus, I'm hoping this lady makes her ESPN return at Gameday.

There are a TON of things going on downtown this weekend if you need to kill time between GameDay and the Game. The Dragon Con, Sci-Fi convention is this weekend and there is also a free concert (Collective Soul and Driving and Crying) at Centennial Olympic Park.

How does the whole gameday thing work?

Do people show up really to get in the crowd behind their desk?

Is it right in front of the GA dome?

What else goes on when the show is over?

Last year they setup on the grass across the street from the Olympic Centennial Olympic Park.

Get there early and get as close to the stage as you can on the back side of the stage.

After the initial shoot they will funnel in different groups behind the barricade to get different people through. So the crowd shots are shot then for the rest of the day.

I think they stop at Noon or 1.

The stage was not there after the game last year. Because we went hoping to get on TV after that smashing of the Tigers.

Those coming, keep in mind that DragonCon is also taking place this weekend as well. Parking may be tight as Sat. is also a heavier day for the con. I know last year it all went well aside from some crowded parking lots!

I wasn't aware of the concert either, looks to be a packed weekend in Ga. this weekend. Nascar's in town as well!

RTR!
