Fyi...."Funnymaine" Johnson has 5 shows this weekend at the Choo-choo in Chattanooga TN
All sold out I think....a lot have enjoyed his stuff after Bama games this fall.... advertised as a christian standup comedian...with strong ties to Bama....
Heade down for 730 show,,,, see how strong crowd is "Bama crowd"

The Noog has a lot of Bama fans. Also, for many of us in the NE corner of Alabama, the Noog was our closest "big" city.

1....the drive to Chattanooga was awful...traffic and rain...
2.....ate at the Comedy Club...50$ for 2 burgers and 2 drinks...
3......comedy club is tight seating for big crowd...
4......crowd was about 90% Bama fans....
5......"funnymaine" was awesome....great jokes..great delivery...great stories...
And can you believe for a standup comedian...not one sing F-word....
Said it takes about 3-4 hours of videoing and editing after all games are done Saturday to do the 3-7 minute clip we see each week.... and they are posted on his facebook at 730 am Sunday...
The first one he did was with a iPhone after a TN- Bama game and it got 3 million hits....and took off from there
Said he was a lifelong Bama fan .... watched games with his mother in opilika AL
Never met Nick but has met Ms Terry.... 30+ years old....getting married this year..
6.....did stand up for an hour and then took questions from audience...quick witted with answers... got a bunch of "Roll Tide s"....

looks like you had a good time.

and no cussing during his show? too many people wouldn't know how to act. and too many "comedians" wouldn't know how to do a set without cussing.

Seen many shows at The Comedy Catch. Agreed, it is a small venue, right by the tunnels under the mountain. I thought it was going to be at the Choo-Choo.

Was at choo- choo... is where the comedy catch is....don’t know about location u mentioned....but nice show....

They must have moved it then. The Comedy Catch used to be on Brainerd, right by the tunnel that passes through Missionary Ridge.

I googled it and seems they did shut down at the old location and move to the Choo-Choo.
