Winning the last six of last season demonstrates they are beginning to find their footing again in spite of it being against weaker competition. Look back two years and you see the Vols losing 7 of their last 8 against the same teams; Mizzou, UofSC, Vandy, etc.

While a top ten class in recruiting isn't a guarantee having a class of 15 or so 4 stars is a pretty good foundation to build upon.

All so unfortunate..... but those 6 in a row....admittingly are weaker....but include some near miracle wins....
Saying that..... sometimes means.....they are learning how to win.... the 18 season...when they fell behind...they kinda quit...this team after Bama game...played hard....even being behind...
But...they do not belong on same field as...UGA, Florida, bama, ok....
And winning 8 wil mean beating the same bunch again...

I agree with your post that CJP has established a good foundation but until they actually put together a big season and win a big game against a quality opponent, I dont think PPF has any grounds to brag yet. Good observation by you.
