But last year... to beat UGA and throttle LSU like they did, but then shit the bed against teams like Vandy and OU... it shows they had the talent and ability to beat anyone. But also they have some major deficiency built in that makes them self destruct.

Serious question, how many 9-3 8-4 type seasons does he get. I'm not on the fire him now train but I do wonder what the financial cost to mediocre seasons ratio is.

And i see what all see...

I saw last year. And Dont see much of a difference this year as far as preparation and execution

Saban always talked about the 4-5 plays that determine a game.... have to be prepared to make those plays..... we appeared not to be prepared... at one time....fsu opened the door for us... we stayed behind the door..

So... fire the coach...or. Get the QB better prepared...
This was a tough game on Ty.... He'll get better...couple of games to work on...
.......gus outcoached KD...but has done same to NS....

Many say you can't coach them hard anymore otherwise they will leave. How much value did Ryan Williams bring to the team yesterday?

JMO but spring drills is where you apply the hammer and learn who is all in and who needs is too fragile to retain. You will get nowhere going the appeasement route. With a roster as out of balance as they are today, you're running up hill even with the best circumstances.

Nicked laughed n joked with them...i laughed and joked with my kids....
But i drew a line...if they didnt do as instructed....i kicked ass..
Kids moved out as soon as they could ...couldnt live with mean sob dad...

And come back every weekend...as good citizens...( well...not always that good..)

Oh, I think we have gotten WAY too far ahead of ourselves.
But we were fed that by the coaches. Not the 1st time we've been outcoached recently. The CONCERNING thing is that it appears we were outcoached since the spring. Maybe we need to teach technique and fortitude (maybe we need to address the defensive line play that has lacked for at least 5 years now). Maybe we need to kick someone in the ass when they do stupid penalties (and noy pat them on the ass)

I recall Mizzou coming to Bham in 75 and kicking our azz. They were 6-5 but they spent the spring and pre-season practice working on Bama.

In the weeks ahead, we'll see what FSU is all about. Hope they go 12-0. If they finish 6-6, we're more than likely in that range as well.

I begrudgingly went back and watched some film of the defense yesterday. And fellas, it's worse than I thought initially. I mean it's the same exact shit from last season. Tackling was piss poor, we had guys filling the wrong gaps several times, miscommunication presnap, an abundance of mental errors throughout the fucking game that are just beyond unexplainable, and the lack of effort on some plays. We had guys that would let up before the play was over and give up extra yardage. I can't fathom a coach seeing this and not tearing these guys apart. I'm honestly baffled at how badly they played at certain points in the game. This shit is embarrassing.

This is strictly a coaching and culture problem. Every top program is having to deal with NIL, but other programs are still able to get their teams ready and look like a championship level squad. That's not us right now, I want deboer to be successful. I just don't have faith that he will.

Real early but I have him slotted right beside Bill Curry

I lived in Montgomery in those days and I played racquetball at the Montgomery Athletic Club which Mike Kolen and Tim Foley owned. I became friends with Mike and we played often. He told me he wished Auburn had someone with the character of Bill. I told him I didn't know anybody with clout otherwise I would try to have Bill there by morning.

Ms50+ and i were talking over our coffee this morning....
And this is where we agreed....
First...her language during the game was awful...for a 5th grade teacher to...dang..
Second....i have heard it said....a team takes on the personality of the HC.....and.....
I do believe.....its never been more obvious......this team...at present...has KDs personality..... no fire...no energy...no fear...no excitement...blank...confused...
