šŸˆ ex-Clemson QB Kelly Bryant's transfers to Missouri

For those calling him a quitter, if he redshirts this year and stays at Clemson, is he still a quitter? If he just wants to play one more year as the starting QB, what does it matter?

The sad thing is that 2015 and 2016 count against his eligibility...

He's not a quitter. Dabo wants to play his starter. Unless I missed it I don't recall Dabo publicly saying that he would have been happy for these two guys to split reps. When Deshaun was the man, seldom did anybody get into a game for any meaningful snaps. It's Dabo's job to paint Bryant a credible picture of his new role.

I still think Dabo dropped the ball on integrating these two into the offense. Clemson fans readily acknowledge that Lawrence would not have won the Aggie game had they not put Bryant back in the game. There's lots of better defenses that Mr. Lawrence will see later on then the Aggies.

But he did quit the team with plans to transfer.

But he did quit the team with plans to transfer.

Elaborate, please.
He will no longer be a member of the team... he doesn't have a jersey or a roster spot... He won't be enrolled in classes at Clemson.... He will be attending a different school and participating in a different teams practice wearing a different teams jersey... Is that elaborated enough ?

In all definitions of the word... he is a quitter (as it relates to his team as phrased in OldPlayers statement). Now, is that a good thing or bad thing for him is a different question....

I can see you're an all or nothing kind of guy. I try to make a little allowance for the human factor. Like, when coaches don't live up to everything they say they are. When they slow play recruits, make promises they never intended to keep. I'm not all that comfortable summing up folks in a word anyway, especially when you're looking for the bad guy. Not in this world.

He lost his job to a better player and he quit. It is that simple. He Quit on his teammates. Maybe the the NCAA should adopt the ole Little League bullshit and have errrrbody play two innings.

Just because you quit something doesn't make it a negative... if you quit smoking it's not a bad thing... although if you quit breathing it might not be so good... Anyway, some of it has to do with who's lens you're looking through. To the Tabasco company it would be a bad thing if you quit smoking...

Like I said, is that a good thing or a bad thing for him is a different question. One that in all honestly can be debated from many different views.

Has KB said all of that or is it others speculating (similar to speculation about Jalen)...
Kelly and Dabo have confirmed he's gone. It's not a matter of speculation any longer.

A lady at work who covers Clemson has been on top of this...she's put out an article or two on the story but I've only read one. Look up Grace Raynor if you have the time.

On another note, it seems ol' Lou just hasn't been paying attention; to anything.

EDIT: I go back to grab the URL to embed the tweet and Lou has already deleted.

So are the guys that left Penn State and Ole Miss after everything that's happened, quitters?
