🏈 Every one is talking QB

I think people are underestimating Harris. He had a good spring game. This is his second year in the program. He was a 5 * so there should be talent to work with. Hope so anyway.
I think people are overestimating Harris. He's not bad, but I'd be pretty concerned if he was getting the bulk of the carries...
Our ideal lineup would be a healthy Bo, and then one of the freshmen as the number two. And then Harris as a Roy Upchurch cleanup back.

I just read over on another forum that apparently the RB competition is really heating up. The freshmen are really pushing, and supposedly Bo isn't looking so great as of late. It would be a pretty strange season if our starting QB and RB were both freshmen...

I remember one game last year (either against MTSU or LAMO) when Damien Harris was in at RB. QB threw a pick to defensive back and Harris ran the DB down from behind and saved a pick six. Sure it was mop up duty, sure it wasn't an SEC DB but I was impressed with his speed and his determination. He looked good in the spring also. I think we will see a 3-4 RB rotation but I also am putting my virtual money on Harris to be the RB that makes some folks eat crow. We shall see.

A lot of people are dismissing Harris as any type of threat simply by looking at what he did in mop up duty. I would guess to say that 90% of his carries came in mop up duty with BAMA simply trying to run out the clock while the defense put 9 in the box against our 2nd and 3rd team Oline. Not necessarily a recipe for success!! I think we have 4 ultra talented RBs, with Jacobs being the X-factor!!

Damien Harris could easily end up being the one running back we depend on the most. He had a very good spring and he's another year older physically and with experience in the system. Picking up Blitzes, playing assignment football, And running and taking care of the rock, Harris could be the most valued back we have when crunch time comes.

I like No a lot, but he's incredibly overhyped, as people have said even last year he was better than Henry, which is laughable. Harris is underrated and has added size and runs extremely well. With the freshmen, it will be a great quartet, but I'm not sure who the bellcow eventually will be.

I think a fully healthy Bo could run through the SEC, and be a beast.
I think D Harris will never be our number one, and I think one of the Freshmen will end up being the star back this year, assuming Bo is hampered by injuries
