I'd be just as scared seeing Chapman across the line as I would Cody. Sure Cody is HUGE, but Chapman, he's HUGE muscular. lol both of them would put a hurtin on peopleBamaDelta said:Here is a shot at Chapman's muscle throwing away that cup...

Does anyone remember Robert Stewart? He was the senior NT back in 1991 and reminds me alot of Chapman. He was also the "Strongest Man on the Team" with similar bench/squat stats. Bama played the 3-4 back then too and Stewart required a double team that allowed our LB's like Hall, London and Rogers wreak havoc.
Overall, I think that line was a little better because it had a couple of All SEC Ends that Im sure you remember.
Man that was my senior year in High School.
ROLL TIDE!!!!

I sure do remember him. A true "sideline-to-sideline" type LB. Homey could HIT too.TerryP said:Funny you mention that year...I was thinking about that line over the weekend.
John Sullins, remember him? He was the LB that stood out that year to me...led the team in tackles if I recall correctly.

Yeah that is why I rate them as a better line. The Ends were so fast on the pass rush they almost never had to blitz to get pressure. The LB's played the lanes and zones. I know Saban wants to "feature" the LB's but I really wish our ends could get more pressure/sacks. It seems we have to blitz alot to get any real pressure like we did on Ole Miss' last drive Saturday. I would like to see Bama get consistent pressure/sacks with 4-5 guys. That '91-'92 team could get pressure with 3!TerryP said:One thing you have to consider/remember about that team. Even though both teams were 3-4 sets, Stallings defense counted on his DL getting a lot of pressure on the QB where Saban looks for more of that from his LB'ing corps. Over half of the sacks that year came from Copeland, Curry and Stewart.
