Any chance at all we pull this kid in? I know he still has us listed as a favorite (tho he has 19 others there too), he would be a MASSIVE pickup for us and i mean that literally. 6'6", 220 lbs even bigger than Julio or Duron Carter. Kid had 2,000 yards receving this year :shock:

Just my opinion, but I don't think we are really even under consideration for DGB. The biggest fish left on our board that we REALLY have a chance at are Eddie Goldman (DT who plays a lot like M. Dareus), and Landon Collins (a big-time safety out of LA). Both are 5-Star caliber players, and we stand a pretty good shot at both of them. You could also include Jameis Winston in that group if you wanted to, although he remains committed to FSU and the MLB question with him is an unknown.

I think we'll finish VERY strong, as usual, but don't believe that DGB will be a part of this class, unfortunately.

Saban is a great closer, so I think I land him. Lugginbill thinks our chances are really good and says we're making an impressive push. Stout class no matter what happens

You may well be right. I'm basing my opinion off of what I've heard through the grape vine and such. I certainly wouldn't put money on it. I just think it'll be hard to pry him away from Arky and further from home.

Out of any recruit in this class, if I could handpick one guy to be a part of our class it would be DGB, without a doubt. You never can tell for sure how a player is going to end up once they get on another level, but this kid seems to be a Calvin Johnson type player. He's huge and lightening fast. And on top of that, he seems like a good kid.

Doubt we land him, but you never know...

Julio did wonders for us, forcing the opponents to obligate double-teams, and little doubt DGB has that same potential. I am curious as to how well our next OC could reproduce the magic that Coach McElwain did with Julio.

No big deal...believe you me, we ALL feel the same way. I just don't want to have my PM box filled with notes about how language offended someone. The rest the guys here will tell you, I don't give a rip if someone is offended. But, I'll try not to offend them.

If that doesn't work, 'ef 'em.

FWIW, if you reference or even quote premium...I don't care. If we get a complaint, I'll fix it. Other than that, post away. All I ask is be sure to either cite the author, provide a link back to the article, etc.

Ok, this is going to sound weird or "yeah right dude, you know what you said", but I'm totally clueless as to what your are talking about regarding that.

I thought my post about how a premium site, that we call the mother ship (word was together I'm fairly certain), referenced that DGB was going to visit one SEC before he makes his announcement & that I thought if he didn't visit 'Bama, that we could be sure he wasn't coming.

Could it be the software filter or someone was interpreted that has mf?
