🏈 Distraction for Miss. State?

Just curious as to your opinion about whether all of this NCAA stuff has been a possible distraction to Miss. State. They were asking Pat Dye on ATL sports radio this morning that question regarding Auburn. Of course he incoherently said no distraction whatsoever. :lance: UGA's Mark Richt commented about it earlier possibly being a distraction for UGA (knowing who to prepare for and such).

With so many pointing the finger Miss. State's way (which I still don't understand) I just wonder the mood over there this week and how much time Mullen and staff have had to devote to it.

First off Richt's got to find any excuse for a loss Saturday. What better then using the Cam Scam as one when media ask him about losing in Opelika.

I don't see this distracting MSU. They're going to be out for blood and if our team comes out complacent like they have in the past few games we get beat. Sorry, but that's the truth. We have to come out hungry and keep our foot on their throats. That don't just go for MSU, the same rule goes for the next 2 teams after as well. I don't care that one of the next 3 teams is a cupcake, kill em early and stay in the lead!

How could it not be a distraction for the Miss. Dawgs? You have to think their game week prep - as far as the caoches jobs scouting, etc. - has been thrown off just slightly.

No way this coaching staff is focused on the game the way the should be. State looks like they have inadvertently muddied the waters for themselves as well. I'm sure it is difficult to prepare to go play a team like Bama on the road when you pointed a finger at a player and the NCAA, SEC, etc. come back at you.
