šŸˆ Different views on how to fix NCAA eligibility

Explain this in a simple sense. I'm not quite following this. I want to make sure I understand what you are saying.

Studies show single parent homes struggle in most areas of life compared to families of two parent households.

Sure, society is fine with single momma's, but the underlying issues that come with that are the questions that need to be answered. Instead of being ok with seeing a single parent household with children, why are we not drilling down and upset with how that came to be and whom it truly affects. Children don't get to pick their parents, yet they are the ones affected by all of the decisions that parent makes, and in this situation most like, before they are even born. That's all I'm saying, society should quit being skin deep and think deeper about how decisions affect more than just one or two people.

All of this being said does not mean children from single family homes are losers and failures, because a lot do make it. I'm simply stating society being ok with visually seeing a single parent household should not be the goal and acceptance. Society should demand more of itself to be ok with not seeing that as ok and working to build a future for the children they brought into this world.

As a retired educator, I saw both sides numerous times. I’m sure @alabama mike would agree. My own dad and his 5 older brothers experienced it to an extent. Different time, different era, but still a woman left to raise 6 boys alone. Got to have a strong supporting cast around you.
Before retiring, I participated in a cohort within our system and we had HS teachers that talked about girls who’s only goals were to graduate, get an apartment in the projects, have babies and get checks from the government, because that’s what momma did and also what her momma did before her.

Wife just told me both were bit. One on nose and neck, and think the one got knicked while dragging him away since his jawl is now swollen.
Several years ago I was building a website for a lady and we ended up talking about dogs for a few minutes one day. She mentioned she had a German Shepard that was in a dog run/pen. As this went on I found out she had a pond in her back yard and had spent the morning shooting cotton mouths. My first thought went to the dog.

I asked...she said she wasn't worried about him...he was 30 or so yards away. A week later, dead.

Dang. That stinks man. One looks like he just got into a boxing match with Rocky, and the other looks like a Bull Terrier with his swollen muzzle. They are German Shorthaired Pointers.

I had my yellow lab get popped by a cottonmouth. He got real lethargic and his temp was thru the roof. I did take him to our vet. Overnight stay, but bill wasn’t too bad.
Had a Newfoundland Sheep dog take a strike on the muzzle from a Copperhead or Rattlesnake. My dad fed her ibuprofen in hamburger. Two days later, perfectly fine
