The following information has been verified:
Against La Monroe, Mack Brown didn't pull McCoy until the 4th quarter when Texas was up 52-10.
Against Hapless Wyoming, up 34-10 in the 4th quarter, Colt McCoy was still in the game throwing passes.
Up 47-7 in the 3rd quarter against Utep, Colt McCoy led a drive where he completed 5 passes. The drive ended with a FIELD GOAL. The classy thing to do is go for it on 4th down, instead Mac Brown TACKED ON MORE POINTS. When Gilbert came in at QB mid way through the 3rd quarter, he was throwing it all over the field (6 passes in just over a quarter of play) and Texas tacked on 2 more TD's.
HERE IS A PERFECT EXAMPLE OF THE EXACT SAME THING WE DID:

Against Missouri, up 41-7 with 3:30 left in the game, Texas got the ball on the Missouri 43 and ran 7 straight running plays! They turned the ball over on downs with 30 seconds left!!!! Missouri STOPPED THEM, however
they had a 2 yard gain on 3rd down with 30 seconds left! THEY DID NOT TAKE A KNEE!!!!
Against Okie State Texas ran out the clock by handing the ball off up until the final play. THEY DID NOT TAKE A KNEE.
Up 28-3 with less than 10 mins left in the 4th quarter,
against a team that had 93 yards of TOTAL OFFENSE to that point in the game, Colt McCoy was in the game throwing passes. Texas tacked on another TD with under 9 mins left thanks to a Colt McCoy led drive.
Against Kansas, up 44-20 with less than 10 minutes to go in the game, Colt McCoy completed 4 passes to engineer a TD drive making it a 51-20 score.

ANYONE who says that handing the ball off up the middle against the #1 run defense in the country is running up the score, is either a homer looking for something to complain about, a barner doing what barners do, or a total flipping idiot with the football IQ of a marshmallow.
