I see it the other way. None of those programs are managed correctly.

Let's get rid of the post office and see how well everyone likes paying $10 to send an invitation all of a sudden or how every single package you order on Amazon suddenly costs twice as much and about 30% of the country would no longer receive mail at all.

And the fact they have spent years and years trying to pin Russia on Trump and haven't with millions of tax payer dollars spent, and you still not believing the outcome is just more evidence that even with all of that you're still calling us the fools, it says a lot about you.

Obama was quoted as saying a number of negative things about our country. His wife was caught saying "all of this for a damn flag", so no, Trump isn't getting away with anything.

Why do you insist putting words in my mouth? Where did I call you a fool? You can believe whatever you want, man. If I watched Fox News all day I would probably call it a hoax too. The only hoax was convincing about 30% of the population of that. I have no desire to continue that though.

Obama was not quoted as saying "negative things" about the country but Trump? Yeah he's said plenty. How about his defense of Putin?

Had Obama said this nonsense there would have been Impeachment hearings the next day lol

Michelle Obama was not "caught" saying that. It's a complete lie. Just because you read it in a chain email doesn't make it true.

You literally cited a lie to counter my claim of all the things Trump gets away with.

Be honest, though, if you walked into a room and heard any random weirdo saying some of the things Trump says, like "I'm a very stable genius" or bragging about how much more he knows about war than "all the generals" or how much more he knows about science and medicine than scientists and doctors, would you not think that person is nuts?

I agree it does say a lot more about everyone else. I despised McCain politically for the most part, but he was war hero. Trump is the same dude that talked shit about General Mattis. Trump is a draft dodging ass and even if he didn’t say all the other shit and act like a douche I would never vote for him for that reason alone

Well, General Mattis did call him a moron lol And to Trump that's akin to treason.

In Q3 of last year (2019), USPS announced a $2.3 billion loss. In 2018 Q3, they managed to lose $1.5 billion. You'll see from the below link that revenue over the same period is essentially unchanged, $17,086 billion (2019) vs $17,074 billion (2018). Tax payers are paying for this mismanagement...

The government and our beloved politicians show us time and time again they are not equipped to manage business.

Cutting Saturday delivery would reportedly reduce spend by $2.2 billion, yet our government (Congress) refuses to pull the trigger on this.

Why are there 2 USPS offices less than 3 miles apart in/near Bonner, MT (population ~1,600). The Bonner Post Office is open to the public 10a-2p M-F. This is my post office, yet there is another one down the road that is open longer hours. What does it cost taxpayers to operate both of these miles apart for such a small population?

I don't watch Fox News or any political television. I have more important things on my plate.

It may be a dug up hole in grampa's front yard filled in with a hose pipe but I reckon it counts. There is water and sand.
I've noticed that the term "beach" gets thrown around a lot. A few years ago, some relatives of mine said that they were headed to the beach. Naturally, I thought that they meant either Gulf Shores or Florida. I asked if they had a room or if they were staying with someone and they asked what I was talking about. They said "the beach is just up the road". Of course, I'm completely baffled. The "beach" they were referring to was at Oak Mountain State Park! It's a sandy area by the lake. I've been there before, but I never once thought of it as a beach. 😂

Around here it is Callaway Garden's Beach. Always heard it called a beach but even those who did so would never say they were going to The Beach. It was always just Callaway Beach at most, but usually even then only during the Water Skiing Masters. We knew better.

I remember going to Oak Mountain's "beach" when I was in college. It's kind of a throwback place, the south used to have a number of lakes with beaches where people would gather. Liability lawsuits, and the interstate system making coastal trips much easier, sent many away. As a kid, we'd go visit an aunt and uncle who lived near Cherokee Beach west of Helena, and go the "beach".

Why don't you show how much money they "lost" before the bill was passed in 2006 that requires the post office to pre-fund retirement plans ahead 50+ years (over $5 billion every single year)? Which, by the way, no other governmental agency is forced to do. The post office MADE money every year until that bill was passed and it was steadily lost money since then because no agency - hell no private company - could keep up that sort of demand. That part is always conveniently left out when people bash the post office. And why are you claiming that it "cost taxpayers." You realize the post office gets no tax payer money for operation costs, right?

In fact, John Oliver did a wonderful take down of this narrative awhile back.

The post office definitely has its own issues but many have attempted to correct those as well as make it better but because Bernie Sanders is one of the primary proponents of it it will just ignored most of the time.

So, no comment on the false information you shared?

It wasn't false. Could go on all day wasting my time with the false information you praise, but I'm actually working and not worried about proving you wrong or you simply saying everything is "false", "mischaracterized", or "lies".

Yikes. But yeah, Im the only stubborn one here not willing to move an inch.

I ran cross country on that "beach", back in the 80's. My brother lived in LaGrange at the time and he held a cross country training camp there one summer. Him and another brother of mine used to win the team triathlon about every year for about 5 years there, along with a friend of theirs that did the swim portion.
