Dee Milliner to the Jets, Chance Warmack to the Titans, DJ Fluker to the Chargers; all 3 in a row!

Next up we have Jesse Williams, Eddie Lacy, Barrett Jones, Quinton Diol, Nico Johnson, Robert Lester, Michael Williams ..

I would love to snag Jesse Williams .. We need a big ferocious DT really bad. Got a fantastic OT in Lane Johnson (OU) in first round, now my Eagles gotta settle on building up our D! Honestly I just wish we could get every Bama player available lol.

I wish Dee, Chance, and DJ the best, and hope the rest of the guys get a shot! They all have great things ahead of 'em.

Gonna be alot of teams regretting passing up on Eddie me thinks... congrats to all those guys. Dee has massive shoes to fill while Fluker & Warmack will likely be starters from the jump.

Cant say I was too thrilled about ATL getting the Trufant kid, I havent really been very high on this guy. I really hoped ATL would try and trade up to get Dee but I guess it was just too rich for our blood.

Yeah overall it was a nice night. Not too thrilled about the Raiders pick, but it was nice to trade back and get a 2nd rounder. Thought for sure we were going to trade back again..

Little surprised Dallas didn't go with Barret Jones :chat_headscratch:. I can understand Green Bay not selecting Eddie, as they need help on defense also.

I barely could watch the draft because I was so close to just punching my tv in from listening to Kiper

I've never been a fan of Chris Berman's style, but his comment "Welcome to the Alabama network" gives him a grace period of a few days.

100% agree with the Dallas pick. That was bizarre. If you are gonna go with a center, there is no one better or smarter at the game than Barrett Jones. But again, it's the Cowboys, so I am just happy a Bama boy didn't end up there (yet).

I think whoever gets Eddie will greatly benefit .. Can't believe he was passed up so far! It's been a trenches-heavy draft so far.

Cowboys needs more bodies up front, that's what makes me question why they didn't get Barret. Glad he didn't go there because frankly I hate them, but it would have been smarter to get someone like Barret who can play all positions. I did like the sign that Cowboys fan had "Can we trade our picks for a new GM?"

This is the first time since 1963 that a RB was not picked in the 1st round. I think Eddie Lacy not going in the first round is a good example of where this league is headed. RBs just aren't seen as high value picks anymore. You look at the Bengals for example, a good place for EL possibly but instead they get Eifert even though they already have Gresham at TE. Why? Probably because they want to model themselves after the New England Patriots style of two top TEs. Can't say I blame them because the Pats have been successful.

I think it was a combination of that and the fact that EL was banged up leading into the draft and really didn't get to show much. Probably concerned some teams considering the short shelf life that RBs already have in the NFL nowadays. I hate it for EL but I'm sure he'll use it as motivation and he can always look at his former Bama teammate Courtney Upshaw for inspiration. Should have been first round, ends up with the Ravens and wins a Super Bowl. Second round definitely isn't the end of the world, but I know he is disappointed at the moment.

I like Gruden a lot. He can get a bit repetitive, but for the most part, he knows his stuff. I'm currently at hotel so I couldn't get NFL Network sadly :icon_evil:

He obviously has alot of knowledge and usually his QB Camp videos are interesting but good lord he doesnt have to think that EVERY single one are amazing. Every Monday night he's simply gushing over each teams QB. You would think they've never thrown a bad pass in their lives.

Pretty much, probably because he's built some sort of connection with them at his QB Camp. I don't really like him being the color commentator on MNF..

His love affair with everyone annoys me as well, but I think he's realized that he could use his platform to negatively impact future NFL players, kudo's to him for not going down that path with such a large audience. I would imagine he is pretty candid in person.
