| FTBL Confidence in Coaching Staff

I know this doesn't mean alot because it's coming from me, but does anyone else feel the same confidence in the coaching staff that I do?

It seems to me that most of the Bama Nation has bought into "the process" and have much more patience in what is going on.

Maybe it's just me.

No it's not just you. I believe there are plenty in the Bama nation including me who feel the same way.

I am still not sold on the offensive scheme that Saban likes to impliment, i am hoping that he will open it up some and allow McElwain to do his thing. I would like to see us run more off tackle this year and maybe add the option with star jackson. Honestly, i hope we look a lot like Fran's 02 team.

Let's see how the offense does this season before we critique it. The option is for NCAA Football...on PS3, and it has no place at Alabama any more IMO. I rather see a power running game with a some finesse. Mainly with sweeps, traps, toss's, and runs off tackle...hell I'll take a well constructed line that beats you off the ball. That along with a steady passing game with crisp routes and the occasional deep patterns.

I'm right there with you. The thing that got my attention watching the replay of the spring game was the way that McElwain looked on the side line when he was talking to the players. He just had the look of someone who was sure of himself, and seemed to have the player's attention. Basically, I don't seem him second-guessing and hesitating this season when he calls the plays. That self-confidence will give the players confidence in themselves when they take the field IMO.
