Yeah people saying he was "within the rules" is just ridiculous. Dude was legit in the Bengals defensive huddle. Porter def. knew what he was doing, Pacman has been that idiot for a decade plus now.

Of course he knew what he was doing... That's what makes it so awesome. He used the thug/s lack of discipline to help his team.

What's a fine when you're team moves on? Owner will happily pay that off. Porter being on the field and talking a little trash won them a playoff game more or less. Every single game little things that aren't "within the rules" happen and teams are forced to either make a scene or get over it. The well known thug in this topic did some stupid shit and his team is forced to pay the price... While the Coach skates because he did it in a generally non incredulous manner.

I had a not so pleasant encounter with Joey Porter back in 2007..... we were in Vegas. Pretty sure it was around the same time he punched a guy at the Blackjack table. Its actually a pretty funny story now that I look back on it.

Lol.... well me and a buddy go to a night club in Vegas. Can't really remember why but there were quite a few pro players there that night. Well my buddy notices a female and he's hooked. Later in the night we're standing near the restroom and the same female is there crying. So my friend goes over to talk to her. He's there for a few minutes and I notice security moving with a sense of urgency. Then out of nowhere I hear my name being yelled. The female happend to be with someone and that person and my buddy get into a verbal spat. Well once security got there they all had lights.....at that moment my buddy realized who the guy was and it was Joey Porter. Thats when he yelled for me. So everything gets dissolved and security escorts us to a back elevator to leave. We get on and my buddy is talking all big about what he was going to do had they not separated them. Well the door on the elevator opens and guess who gets on....Joey Porter and the female..... That was the longest and most quiet elevator ride I've ever been on. The next day I ask my buddy if he remembered what happened..... his response was I'm never drinking again.
