Just got caught up on that game as I was busy last night...

Holy shit what a mess. Those 2 Bengals lack the unselfishness and discipline genes neccessary to be winners. We've known that about Packman forever though... Hard to win with guys like that. Burfect just appears to be a flat dirty player.

As far as AJ.... He is what we most of us expected him to be. He's a solid NFL backup but not special in any way. Not special in arm strength, athleticism, and last but not least, leadership. He's a good backup option though because he's not bad at any of those things and he's always done a great job or being mentally prepared which is super important at that position.

My post was about the constant use of the word "thug" as a code word 99% of the time, antyime someone doesnt like what a player does he is automatically a "thug." And Im sorry doing stupid shit on a football field does not equate to being a thug, what Pacman off the field has done definitely. But from what Ive seen he has at least cleaned that up. Nobody in this topic said they were thugs because of what they did in this game. They said, and I agree, that Cincy has too many thugs which cause more PF penalties. I just think it's hilarious that you got pissy about people using thug(properly I might add) while saying mental midget. That is offensive to two types of people with disabilities that they cannot control. Now me personally, I have no trouble with u using mental midget or with others on this forum using thug but if ur going to be PC at least know what you're talking and don't be a walking double standard.

Good points. Being a thug (disregard for rules, laws and prone to violence) is a choice. A "midget" usually means abnormally short - not a choice.

I love the kneejerk responses to use of the word "thug" that it's somehow a racial thing. Hooligan, goon, ruffian - I don't care what word you use.

Players without self control at critical points of a game are a liability, intent to injure collisions outside the rules, and Jones' stupidity after a play cost Cincy the game.

I watched the game last night and the word "thug" became my primary thought on how to describe those two thugs last night. They played to recklessly endanger other players and Jones action simply sealed their fate. He never knows when to back off.
