The money for those 3 schools and the history of winning in the last 30 years is comparable. College Football is a business and all 3 schools are doing it on an equivalent level and sustaining it. From top to bottom, including TV revenue, endorsements, salaries, NFL production, wins-losses-bowls and influence on the sport, they ARE equal.

Most great coaches have a tremendous ego, coach Saban strikes me as having such an ego. I love it and I think that is one of the main reasons that Saban stays at Bama and does not jump to another school. If we beat Notre Dame, he will have 3 national championships at Bama and is can be argued that he is the second greatest coach at Bama. It is entirely possible that he could get 4 more before he is done here and we all know what that means. With the upcoming playoff system, it could open the door to winning 4 in a ten year period. All of that being said, I think that overtaking Bear is a bigger lure to Saban than winning a national championship at a 3rd school.
