Saban [HASHTAG]#14[/HASHTAG] Hot Seat

Found this BS on a LSWho site that I muck around on occasionally. no idea how the site comes up with its ranking. Thought y'all might want to hash it out.

Now, excuse me while I go get the corndog smell off.
:slap8: <--- For getting sucked into one of TT's threads!

While Tap has a hard-on for Bama, every time he starts one of these threads over there his points are all flaccid.

OK, so let's pull out the 2 most important coaches on that list (according to the people on this site and the ones on that site) and look at the most important data on each.

with a better winning % and a better record from last season, how is Coach Saban on the hot seat and Les Miles not?

gotta love corndog thinking. they'll do anything to make their coach seem less inferior.

In the spirit of equal exchange, here's the thread XXL was referring to. 10-15 replies there...75% of those in the thread are pretty good people. I've had some good discussions about football with several of them.

Perspectives from both fan bases can't be more opposite of each other.

@sk33tr Touching on that chart you put up just a second. Both records are damn good. If a coach is on the hot seat for winning .800 of his games? That's a pretty messed up fan base. (That site putting Saban where he is? Asinine. Anyone who believes that is, well, for lack of a better way to put it...they're a dumbass.)

The biggest thing I see creating any friction between the fan base and the coaches security is conference losses. Miles has almost twice as many as Saban over the last five years (11 to 6.)

I've got LSWho on my question mark list for the new season. Untested QB, lost two great receivers, some questions on their defense. If Les slips to say 8-4 this year then, some of their fan base will think that 2007 was a long time ago.

Bringing this back up not for the ranking but for a quick look at who made these rankings...

Yesterday we have him talking about how Kiffin wasn't as great as purported this season by a comparison of average yards per play being higher in 2013 with Nuss versus 2014. We also have him crediting Bill Oliver for Muschamp's development as a DC?

Just read this timeline...

@bama alum The guy is truly clueless when it comes to a lot in college football. The ONLY reason his web site is worth a damn is you'll have the ability to look at the .pdf's of some coaches contracts.
