I was afraid his hip was dislocated last night. That is a ROUGH recovery. Some Bammers over on AUF said something about nerve damage. These things are very difficult to recover from. I wish him the best

Dislocated hip (they were able to put it back in at the locker room), xrays were good (showed no structural damage), getting a mri today or tomorrow to see if there was nerve damage, six week recovery if no nerve damage- from Saban
Somewhat. Bo's injury restricted blood flow to the "ball" of the ball and socket of the hip joint which caused bone death.
As for the chap indicating three months, TONS of variables in these things and your friend wasn't an elite level athlete. 3 months is doable with no nerve damage or vascular impairment but it is an awful recovery.
I saw that leg stick up at an awkward angle and thought it was a MCL or ACL tear, glad it was just a dislocated hip and hope he's up and running for Spring Practice, because he's going to have to step-up and be the leader next year.
