I'd take the over. Has the feeling of a 28-24 type of game. Go tempo we can wear them out. Tennessee really did show the blue print, and we have the depth to take it four quarters where no one else could.

UT was wearing them out by the 2nd quarter. Then all the sudden the "injuries" started & all the TV timeouts. Jawja's defense hasn't had to really play a full 4 quarters defending all facets of the field. This may very well be our advantage in the game. As long as we can protect Bryce Young & don't turn the ball over then I see our chances improving.
Also, I think for the most part we will be the underdogs & that may get our immature team a bit more focused during practice week. I ALWAYS prefer us being the underdog & I think CNS has done some of his best work when we come in games like this.

Hooker has been a dang good quarterback for them, especially considering all of the attrition and a first year head coach.
In the end, we have the better team than anyone they have faced and I have always stood by that factor. Even if we lose to Georgia I still consider us one of the best four teams in the country.
Let's wait until we take care of business that is in front of us before we worry too much about that.
If and when we get there, we don't know what kind of injuries, if any, might come into play.

Agree for sure. Going to be interesting to see what impact losing another RB will have on us this week. But yes Bama's inconsistency makes demands we take it one game at a time.
While everyone is speculating about their defense I'm thinking the attention is on the wrong side of the ball. I'm really leaning towards this game being decided by what the Bama defense does against their offense.

Agreed. My biggest concern with our defense is 1A. Stopping the run & 1B TE catches. Bennet just isn't very accurate, especially when pressured. So we have to contain him with his runs & we must STOP the run. If we can get a 2 or 3, three & outs on them, & then drive the ball down field for points (TD or FG), that will be the difference in the game IMHO. We have improved in stopping the run but I am not 100% sure if that is because of the competition. AR & AU will surely harden or soften up our run stop defense. Hopefully our guys will be able to get better at it.
Why do you think how our defense holds up is the key?
I appreciate what I've seen Stetson Bennett bring to the field. He would have done pretty well in the Alabama offenses back in '09 - '13 or so. I don't think he's as good as AJ was and therein is the the crux of my opinion.

I think your right on all counts. And I will not be surprised at all if FG's win/lose the game. It will not surprise me at all to see JT Daniels come in 2nd half because he can sling the ball better. The issue then becoming is turning the ball over. I'll take Bryce on ball security over BOTH.
Just a note: Jawja does get penetration on field goals. That's a real concern especially with returning them back. However, we have better punt block efficiency so do we break even?
