It is pricey, but I agree it's good. After including their jerky in most of our kids/grandkids Christmas stockings for several years, this last Christmas my wife went with other options for jerky - honestly, can't remember if it was Costco/Sams/Walmart or something else, just that we didn't make the $200 Buc-ee's run for snacks. Their selection is crazy huge, too. Were you in Loxley/Leeds/Decatur? Please don't say you supported the Lee County tax base...Bama has more Buc-ee's than anyplace other than Texas.
Not to muddle topics, but I'll say again that a place I find hard to pass up is the fried chicken gizzards of Heflin (or "Hell Fell In", as my Pap Pap called it). It's not just gizzards, but I rarely get anything else. Exit 205 Circle K across from the Love's. I get a small gizzard box. Watch out for the potholes, you could park a Prius in one of them.
