i don't mind gary so much since he actually played the game...although sometimes his love for quarterbacks who once beat Alabama years ago is bordering on the obsessive.

Ya know, when Verne made "off the cuff" comments as segways they were truly "off the cuff."

Yesterday with Nessler and his attempts at segways and humor? He was trying way too hard and as as result bombed spectacularly.

Honestly I didnt notice anything awkward or worth unforgiving. I like Gary ‘s insight even if I disagree with his analysis. also, they admit both when they are wrong.

Verne was distracting with all his gaffs.

When Nessler called DeLong, DeShort I lol'd. Nessler is a big improvement IMO.

DeLong will forever be DeShort for me until he stops staring at his shoes while walking off the field. He looks at his shoes more than Shula used to during a halftime interview.

Nessler's fine for me, he's just doing his job. CBS should have spent their money on Alli LaForce and exiled Gary the Danielson to FS2.

Yet she gets all the names right, isn't one to over-call games allowing the action on the field to speak for itself, and isn't one given to a lot of personal commentary.

Funny how everything she does right is everything others do wrong, eh?
