Cool. I thought that might be the case. Biscuits? Yeah. Otherwise? I just don't cook that way. Just thinkin'...peanut oil for frying a Turkey. That's the last time I recall using a lot of oil.

Believe it or not lard is Dr recommended for cooking nowadays.. especially for inflammation in the body…

I won't say "it's a lost art," it is just one of those things people don't take advantage of...that being, menu's for different restaurants. I was looking at the STK menu in ATL a few minutes ago...just stealing a few ideas as I'm making out a grocery list.

I am mainly just checking in after a decade or so. Has anyone here tried the planned delivery meal companies? Cook Unity is looking pretty good. we are tired of drive thru food and the prices for what you get these days are making the subscription plans more appealing.

Hello Fresh could be taken a number of ways here.

I can't remember how many meals. I know it was at least a dozen on their free trial card. (It was given to existing customers to give to their friends, neighbors, etc.) Following the trial run I want to say I ordered 30 or so meals over a few months.

I didn't do it for the health reasons. It wasn't because of a time issue. It was their choices. A friend had received two dozen or so meals and saved their "meal cards;" recipe, ingredients, etc. Those looked good...one thing led to another.

(I've used a half of a dozen or so meat market type delivery services.)

In the end, it just didn't fit my style of eating. What they called a meal for two? I always ended up adding things to get two meals.
