Just to be picky, it's not a poll. It's a ranking where the members debate the placement of each team based on a number of factors that aren't set in stone.

Last year, Ohio State was #16 in the first ranking for what it's worth.

It's really apparent what the national mediots (media + idiots = mediots) think, lots of whine from these guys. Makes me laugh hard, to hell with them all is how I see it.

I thought it was funny during the announcement show how all the mediots were debating like this was the final ranking. None of them mentioned that there's still plenty of games to play and that the final four could be none of the initial four. For each reason they gave why X should/shouldn't be there, the remaining schedules solved it.

If we weren't in the initial top four, and won out, we'd be in the top four. Too many people being butt hurt about something that doesn't matter.

I was surprised as well. I figured we would be around 5-7 area much like our AP and Coaching Poll position. In or out of the initial four really doesn't matter. We just need to take care of business. Win out and I would imagine that they couldn't keep us out.

This. We all knew we would be there at the end if we won out.

The real ass ache would come if we beat LSWho in a close game and both teams made the final four.

And congrats to Pelham boy Dabo Sweeney. I have an acquaintance at church who follows all things Clemson, even goes to all the home game. He tells me that they are a little surprised to be where they are this year, but felt they would make a big run in 2016 and 2017.

I think with the sec butthurt bias if Bama beats LSU...seeing as its so late in the season and Bama wins out....they will be in and LSU will move down making room for Baylor. Baylors SOS for the rest of the season is like 9th...they have been over 100 up to this point. With the committee giving so much weight to SOS...i think Baylor will jump ND into the top 4. Bamas got to take care of business. If they win out.....SEC champ or not...Bamas in due to crazy high 3rd SOS...and that sbefore playing LSU on sat.
