🏈 Can this be an historic beatdown?

I, like a lot of you, have seen the iron bowl won by the underdog before, but I believe this is not one of those times. I feel like we should win this one convincingly. For some reason, I really want this one to be an epic, smashmouth, in your face, make their ass quit beat down. Is this the time CNS goes for the throat, not calling off dogs game where he runs the Gus bus out of town on a rail? I sure hope so.

That's what I would like to see. But, I don't know if that fits in with CNS's philosophy. I think he concentrates on the larger picture and keeps the end game (NC) on his mind. I would be surprised to see him endanger the next few games by needlessly pounding (as much as it would please me to no end) on the hated and reviled barn. Should Bama get a commanding lead, I believe he will just get the younger guys some experience and that will give the barn a chance to make some inroads, but not enough to claim a victory.

Roll Tide! Stomp the barn!

I just want a comfortable win (more than two scores midway through fourth quarter). Although I'd love to beat them 100-0, we win and we have a game the next week against a pretty stout defense (6th overall, 9th against the run).

Get ahead, ice the game.

I just want those ones that has been written up those crap if...if...if...frog had wing wouldn't ........ I hope the 2nd and 3rd score on them. I hope Bama fill the seat up that it more CRIMSON then puke Blue & Orange. I like the way the way rolltide.com is selling the tickets , no ticket are seated together. Barner can do what they want to try and not get Bama fans seated together. Scam can been at the game if he want, he can't play.

I think Coach is willing to win 45-0. I would like to see an ass whooping and get some more Harris and Scarborough. I like seeing the young guys getting some time against other big recruits they camped with that chose the wrong school. I definitely want to see Henry break 150 and two touchdowns to secure the Heisman.

All of this is making me nervous. All the "Auburn has no chance..." and the fact their coach is more of an actual riverboat gambler than the Mad Hatter in LSU. I can see old Gus pulling out all the trick play garbage because they can't lineup and play head to head. You know Alabama's defines is going to have the kitchen sink thrown at them.

The whole "you can throw the record books out" stuff is generally not in situations like this. Was 2013 really such an underdog win? Not really since Auburn was in the Top 5 also at that time with only 1 loss. Same with 1972, 1989, 2010 or a host of other years when the underdog won but they were ranked within 10 of the other team. Could Auburn win? Yes, any team can win any game with enough luck. Will Auburn Win? Nope.

I guess you not read the sportswriter saying what if the barners win then. You know he going thrown the sink at Saban. I think Saban know this. I feel good about these guys going into the game.

If you want to hang 60 on them, it would require a fast start and keeping the first teamers in most of the game. If you keep the first teamers in late, everyone will have a fit if any of them get hurt. Be happy with a 20-point win.

Who says the younger guys can't kick their a$$!?

Hang 30 on them in the first half, and then bring in the 2's and 3's and hang 30 more! Realistic? Probably not. But one can dream big, right?
The ultimate insult, as @mrchase said, would be to have enough points on the board to start substituting as early as possible.

Once Bama gets a 17pt lead Damien Harris enters the game to tote the rock for 1.5 per carry.
