🏈 Cam Robinson Injured 8/8 practice: UPDATE : returns to practice 8/9

You guys know lots more about depth and the roster than me, but if losing one lineman dooms our season the team isn't very good anyway. I hope he's okay, but in big time college football things happen. We're going to have some guys injured this season. Every team is. I'd rather have a broken bone now than six weeks from now.

Can you say "Only good returning starter on offense"?

But Cam is the true anchor of our offense. We can ill afford to lose him.

Every OL has an anchor that they can ill afford to lose. Cam is Bama's anchor. He also happens to play in (arguably) the most critical spot on the OL.

We are going to be ok. The tweet above is accurate. This was blown way out of proportion. He'll probably sit for a week or so. No biggie. Hearing some sport of sprain. He doesn't have anything to prove. However, losing him would be a disaster. He's not replaceable.

Keep in mind that Cam had screws put into his leg last year and played an SEC football game a few days later. He's tough as nails. Either way, I'm glad this isn't going to be that big of a deal.

Thanks TT. I'm breathing much easier.

Hey, it's Trophy Thomas. Am I the only one who's played Banjo- Kazooie Nuts & Bolts with their kids?

Buncha damn chicken littles..... While losing CamRob would be devastating to the OL, it wouldn't be the end of the world. If I remember correctly, I believe we have recruited well in recent years.

Everyone is jumping to conclusions and yet we haven't even seen him in a boot yet

Don't kid yourself. Losing Cam would be devastating. He's the most important player on this team. Yes we've recruited well, but guys as talented as Cam don't come around very often. He's special, and as I said above, could not be replaced. He's just too valuable.

Nor do we want to. ;)
