I read yesterday that the Board of Governors in Florida just passed legislation where schools (FSU was spear heading the move; all schools will benefit) can now take the auxiliary dollars per year and give directly to athletics. It's over 20 million in FSU's case.
If they did that at Bama, it would be like taking parking fees and giving them directly to the athletic department. The Supe Store would be another example.

I'd love to know the revenue from the Parking Ticket department at Alabama. They were NEVER shy to write a ticket while I was there. Almost like they had drones flying over campus to help point out every instance where a ticket could be written.

Tickets and wheel locks during my time there. I only received one ticket during my time, parked in a faculty lot when it was raining like Noah and the Ark! 10 people didnāt show up for the class and that included the professor!

You basically got one "freebie" ticker per semester when I was there... meaning that if you didn't pay it didn't matter, it got wiped from the system. I used those freebies very strategically...

I only had one class that was out of the way. It was in Farrah Hall. And it really wasn't because it was on the way to the "hub" of where I spent my time. That was spent between Carmichael, Morgan, and Reese (with a few in Ten Hoor.)
I liked to eat in The Ferg on Sunday's. No parking there. The only thing the Supe Store was good for was an occasional movie and they'd cash a check, quickly. Those test booklets made me hate the places.
'bout like knowing you could take a piss in Coleman during a baseball game...had to know which door. In the rain, if your buildings were right, you could jump one to the other.
