📝 Buckeyes land five-star Browning

That's a good get for them ... staff, and those in Tuscaloosa, really liked their chances as of a couple of days ago. I thought he was headed to T-town.

That said, those who follow recruiting will get over this miss quickly. Quickly. We'll hear from a top 50 kid soon.

From what I've heard- family may have been a little turned off by Alabama sending only Tosh last night. Ohio State sent entire staff. Must not have cared too much that Bama is playing for a conference championship this week.

I'll be honest, if this is true, I don't want a kid like that. Someone's family that is that full of theirselves and off their son's accomplishments is not what Alabama is about. Pretty ignorant of them to think Coach Saban doesn't want their kid enough to visit during SEC Championship week. I understand you want the best for your son, but don't think the world revolves around you for one, and two, don't be dumb enough to not look at the big picture here.

Could not agree more. I have heard CNS say it about recruiting a lot when it comes to attitude and personality. Having kids that commit means that they buy into the values and ideals that you set forth as a program.

I know there is another thread talking about kids that were "misses" in the recruiting circles (ie Jonathan Kongbo), but more often than not, we get the right kids.

Just one less kid transferring in two years because Daddy doesn't think he's playing enough.
