šŸˆ Breakout player of the year -2015 (last year's thread)

How about staying on topic and stopping the dick measuring and learn how to talk to each other. You're both Alabama fans. I don't have time for this shit and some more sandy panty stuff.

I left Chris Black off my list on accident.

Roll Tide

I can't wait to see DaHand against some of these read option QBs. The few times I saw him last year, he stayed in position on his end reading the play the whole time just waiting for the ball carrier to run towards him. Some of the other guys were crashing down too soon.

These are the situations I see Tim Williams excelling as well. Damn, now I wanna add Williams to my list too.

I see you've gone the strawman route - didn't want to stick with the "I watched all the games with dad"?

I clicked on the first 4 Chubb highlights I saw from ESPN, and each one is a Power O or pitch where he's got a huge hole and not touched for the first 5+ yards past the LOS. He's a great back, but he had more big holes than the 2014 Alabama backs did.

Ha, ok. Four run tells the tape. Way to dig deep. Apparently our analysis is not even close. If they were as great as you're claiming, then they wouldn't have lost three games to teams they were better than. You're starting to sound like a typical Georgia fan.

I think Bateman or Morris are going to have to separate themselves from Coker to win the job. Not the other way around. Our coaches don't want Morris to be a returning starter next year when Barnett is ready to take over.

According to everything we know at this point, Morris and Bateman HAVE separated themselves. They are the most consistent two. They understand the playbook and how to play at this level. It's just gonna take a little live game time for it to click. With Barnett, there is a ton of upside, but he's not physically or mentally ready to be our guy. If he was, we wouldn't have been discussing this for the last 4 months.

Redshirting Blake is actually pretty smart, so long as he doesn't get impatient. Let's him develop and learn, come in at his best. Coming in as a true freshman and making a ton of mistakes could possibly mess with ones confidence/mindset. Coming in after Morris, we could have a monster.

EDIT:Boz just updated and said no redshirt for BB. Gonna have a battle with Morris next season.

As I've said, I like the no RS call for BB. If a player is too talented to stay for 5 years, a RS is wasteful. Find him some garbage time reps to use for development this year.

If he struggles, it isn't a bad thing. One, it keeps his ego in check as the QB3/4 with arguably the most talent on the team. It builds some valuable experience and the opportunity to play/compete in any capacity reduces the chance of him becoming disenfranchised.

Your sig makes me miss that campus so damn much. Don't get me wrong, SU has a nice campus and all, but IT IS COVERED IN SNOW FROM OCTOBER TO MAY. Alabama has one of the nicest campuses I've ever set foot on .. sigh!! Hope to work there someday.

Alabama's campus has transformed like crazy, even in the three years since I was taking classes on campus. The sorority houses look amazing and they have done a great job with all the buildings and green areas. If you can ever get to Athens, I think you'll love their campus as well. It's very pretty.

I was impressed, albeit off of limited footage, of what I saw today on the SECN's Alabama preview show of redshirt frosh LB Jamie Mosley. The dude looked incredibly strong as well as agile. The roster has him listed at 6'5", 221.

It's also worth noting that he played at Theodore so he's either a brother or cousin to CJ. That can't hurt him.
